Experimental Section 1.1 Chemicals and Materials Polylactic acid (PLA, Mn = 100000), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP, Mn = 1300000), sodium sulfide nonahydrate (Na2S∙9H2O), cadmium chloride (CdCl2∙2.5H2O), ethanol (CH3CH2OH) and acetone were of analytical grade, commercially available and used without any further purification. Purified water with a resistance greater than 18 MΩ cm was used in all experiments. Polystyrene (PS) solution was controllably prepared using styrene by emulsion polymerization.1 Fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CQDs) was synthesized by our previously reported methods.2,3
